In general, I was thinking about the Jack Russell Terrier when I realized that I was ready to have a dog. I wanted to have a friend and companion in the house, with whom you can have fun and actively spend time outdoors, go hiking and training. But, in one YouTube show, I saw a very beautiful, flexible and elegant dog. The show was about dogs in general, they didn't even say what breed it was. I had to do a search for appearance and find out what kind of breed it is. It was a Belgian shepherd - a malinois. And then everything spun. The more I learned about this breed, the more I fell in love with them. Well, how else? How can you not fall in love with them? For me, the Belgian Shepherd is the natural embodiment of the dog itself. The choice was obvious, especially given city life and Malinois' incredible learning and obedience abilities. Although the breed is not recommended as the first dog, and my experience was small, in my mind, I was already with my raspberry. That's how I met my Utah.
Now she has become part of my family, honey happiness with smart eyes. It completely changed my life. With her, with pleasure, I know this world again. And how much energy is in it ... it can't be transferred. You have to spend a lot of time and effort to direct this hurricane of emotions in the right direction, but it's worth it. It gives me a lot of pleasure to see this mischievous look, full of the usual puppy joy and happiness after a walk or training. Training with Raspberries is a separate story, they were just born for that.
Special thanks to Irina and Dmytro for everything they have done and are doing. Frankly, I did not expect them to provide so much support and help to me personally (from initial training to a full package of documents, both Ukrainian and international, including veterinary registration of a puppy to go abroad) and incredible care for their babies. Moreover, even after the purchase of a puppy, they are regularly interested in the condition of the puppy and provide a huge amount of information on the proper care and upbringing of puppies. It is very nice that they are open to dialogue at any time and treat their kids like their children. I had several situations in which I did not know how to behave (before that the family already had a dog, but already an adult, educated and not so energetic) and Dmitry, along with Irina, explained to me in detail how best to do in one situation or another and conducted a practical lesson with my baby and me.
Thank you very much, you are incredible.
My family has always had dogs. Rottweilers, Staffordshire Terriers, and American Bulldogs are wonderful breeds, but after the sudden death of our beloved dog, the need for a new one arose. Based on my experience, I wanted a compact, hardy dog with minimal genetic problems, untainted by show breeding. Therefore, I chose the Belgian Shepherd.
The main criterion for my choice was the parents' strong nervous systems. We have children in our family, and the breed is very serious.
After seeing the ad, I called Dmitry and Irina on the puppies' birthday. After a long conversation on the phone, I became convinced that they take their business very seriously. And after looking at the photos and videos they provided, I decided to get a puppy from this kennel. My decision was further strengthened by seeing how Baria, the puppies' mother, behaves in everyday life. Calm, balanced, and at the same time, an uncompromising guard dog.
Our Hardy is a little hurricane. He amazes with his boundless energy. In my opinion, the main task of an owner is to channel this energy. I greatly enjoy long walks with him in nature. I am very impressed by his strength, endurance, and musculoskeletal system. It's now a great joy to watch Hardy spend time with a child, watching them play and relax together.
My impressions of my pet can be summarized as follows: he's difficult, but very interesting.
Thank you, Ira and Dima, for a wonderful friend!
Hi! If you're reading reviews, it means you're choosing a Malinois breeder and a kennel. First of all, I want to say that Dima and Ira are incredibly responsible breeders. Vaccinations and all the paperwork are very well organized, and most importantly, they're always available. Support and answers to any questions you may have are guaranteed throughout the entire process, once you've adopted a puppy from them. Furthermore, they carefully select a partner for the puppies' mother, as pedigree is crucial, as it determines a dog's stability and working qualities.
I first saw Baria, the puppies' mother, at a show, where I also met Dima and Ira. I was captivated by Bari's beauty and grace, and after Dima showed me a few tricks, demonstrating just a small part of the dog's capabilities, my heart and thoughts were filled with the Malinois.
I didn't know much about the breed, and the decision to buy a puppy was rather spontaneous. This is the first dog I've ever owned, and in some ways, it was crazy to get a Malinois without experience. But I don't regret it one bit! My Sevi has become a true friend and partner, with whom I can take long walks, into the forest, downtown Kyiv, and even hang out with friends at a dog-friendly cafe. This breed thrives on being close to its owner and serving them. I was convinced of this from the very first day, because Sevi is like a shadow, following you everywhere, and she needs to stick her nose in everywhere. )))
Well, she can be taught good manners – be prepared to devote time and training to her every day, but everything you put into raising a puppy will delight and surprise you in the long run. After all, this is a very smart, strong, and capable dog, and once you unlock her potential, she will become a true partner!
Yes, she can be difficult at times, but I think, like any dog, she requires a lot of patience and love, inner balance and calm, and then, with small steps – from simple to complex – she can be taught many things. When choosing this breed, be prepared for the fact that this dog needs mental and physical stimulation. Sevi and I are busy sniffing things, learning tricks, and preparing for the BH and IGP standards at the training center.
